Is Ternux free?+

Yes. Ternux is free to use with no account required. A Pro plan is available for teams who want shared vault access and advanced features.

Where are my credentials stored?+

Locally, in an AES-256-GCM encrypted vault on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and no account is needed.

Which platforms does it support?+

Ternux runs on Linux, Windows, and macOS (Apple Silicon). It is built on Tauri for a small binary and fast startup.

Can I import my connections from Tabby?+

Yes. Ternux can import your connections and vault directly from a Tabby config file — no manual re-entry needed.

Does it support SSH key authentication?+

Yes. You can authenticate with a password or an SSH key. Keys are stored encrypted in the local vault alongside your connection credentials.
