Account Linking

To use Pro features, you need to link the Ternux desktop app to your Ternux account.

Linking your account

1. Open Settings (Cmd+, / Ctrl+,).
2. Navigate to the Account section.
3. Click Link Account.
4. Your default web browser will open to the Ternux Console login page.
5. Sign in (via Google, GitHub, or Apple).
6. The console will display a 6-digit verification code.
7. Go back to the Ternux desktop app and enter the 6-digit code.

Once verified, your account details (Name, Email) and your current Plan (e.g., Free, Pro) will be displayed in the Settings panel and at the bottom of the Home sidebar.

Unlinking

To remove your account from the desktop app:

1. Go to Settings → Account.
2. Click Unlink.

This immediately removes the token from your local config and reverts the app to the Free plan capabilities. It does not cancel your subscription.

Refreshing your status

Ternux automatically refreshes your plan status periodically. If you just upgraded on the website and the desktop app hasn't updated yet, click the Refresh button in the Account settings to force a sync.
